A broad survey of the political, social, economic, religious, and cultural developments of ancient, medieval, and early modern Europe with emphasis placed on the contributions of Western civilization but including study of African, Far Eastern, and Middle Eastern societies. The course begins with Egypt and Mesopotamia and concludes with the 1500s.

Eligibility
In order to register for an online course this summer, students must be graduating from high school this year and have already been accepted to Cornerstone University for the Fall 2008 term. No transfer or existing Cornerstone students are eligible for this program at this time.
Tuition and Fees
- $125 per credit hour + $35 technology fee are due May 23rd. Summer tuition bills not paid in full by this date will result in cancellation of course registration.
- Acquisition and payment for required textbooks and course materials are the responsibility of students.
- Financial Aid is not available for the online summer courses.
* Limit one course per student
Courses will be cancelled, and tuition/fees refunded, if fewer than 5 students are enrolled when registration closes on May 23rd.
