Develop your knowledge of international business operations by participating in this two-day global business experience without even leaving the country.Participants will interact with leaders on topics such as financing global expansion, developing leaders to serve internationally, location selection based on resource needs and logistics for moving goods globally.
The cost of the Chicago trip is $250* and is due with application. It includes BAM Day and Chicago trip instruction, instructional materials, group meeting facility fees, BAM Day Continental breakfast and lunch, Chinatown train fare, walking tour and dinner.
The cost does not inlcude hotel accomodations, meals for two days (except Chinatown dinner), train and public-transportation fares, gratuities and other incidental expenses.
Students who choose the Chicago trip must also complete BAM Day.
Business as Mission (BAM) day is a one-day seminar designed to provide MBA students with an opportunity to learn more about doing business with a focus on missions in a global marketplace - how to apply the Christian worldview whether at home or overseas and how to create an atmosphere of integrity, honesty, dignity and respect in your organization.
Attendance at this seminar is required for all students who choose the Chicago trip (April 16-17) or with special permission (for students who began their MBA program before September 2009) complete the global project with their own company.
BAM Day will take place at the Zeeland campus.
